THINGS TO KNOW

 FAQs

  • No, I do not take any insurance plans. If you would like to use your insurance, I can provide you with a Superbill (receipt with insurance codes) to submit to your insurance company.

If you are unsure if you have out-of-network benefits, please contact your insurance provider to see if our services would be reimbursed.

  • Nurtured Nutrition accepts cash, check, and credit cards at this time. Credit card is our preferred mode of payment.

A credit card number is required to hold all appointments, but payment is not required until time of service and another form of payment may be used instead of the credit card on file.

  • If you provide me with 24 hours or greater notice there is NO FEE to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

However, my late cancellation policy states that I require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. If you cancel or reschedule an appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time, the FULL appointment fee will be automatically charged to the card on file.

My no-show policy states that if you are not present (either virtual or in person) within the first 10 minutes after the appointment start time, you are considered a no show, and the FULL cost of the appointment will be automatically charged to your card on file.

Testimonial:

“Queer fat person here, and I CAN CONFIRM that everyone is welcome in McKenzie’s office. I remember being in tears the first meeting afraid that another professional was going to tell me I was crazy or lying. That was simply not the case. McKenzie set me up to be on the most healing path I’ve ever been with food and my body. I will be forever grateful.”
